Description:
This coffee was processed using a method from wine production called yeast fermentation. This type of processing is at the forefront of the specialty coffee industry as it pushes the boundaries of what coffee could be. We have had several experimental coffees before from the likes of Jairo Arcilla and from a Panama Gesha Estate so when we heard the up and coming Vietnam Specialty coffee farm in Lán Tranh was experimenting and have produced a high scoring (SCAA 86+) anaerobic fermentation we just had to have them! Especially because we have always felt that Vietnam coffee has so much untapped potential in terms of tasting notes and this coffee has definitely unleashed the winey and fruitiness aromas and taste now synonymous with Speacialty Coffee.
